Cliff Richard(克里夫·理察)1940年10月出生 在印度的Lucknow，英國籍，他是英國流行音樂歷史上最受歡迎和演藝生涯最長的藝人之一，有英國貓王和金童子的美稱。在英國，他有八十多首歌曲進榜的紀錄，其中十首是冠軍曲，其中《情如海深》是英國樂壇長青樹克里夫理查浪漫傑作，此歌是80年代經典情歌84年英國榜top30。
Cliff Richard(克里夫·理察)有英國貓王美稱 。他是出生在印度的英國人當時印度獨立回到倫敦後開始他的歌壇生涯，一開始從美國流傳過到英倫的rock and roll 風靡全球他開始崇拜模仿貓王，開始登上舞台生涯，他的父親做了他的經紀人，由於在他父親的嚴格管教下一直沒有女朋友，當時很多傳聞他是同性戀，當時那個時代同性戀還是很不尋常的產物，最後他不得不在報紙上作出聲明。他在音樂屆只能成長青樹就是靠他的不斷適應音樂的流行從R&R到christian music再到後來的pop所以能走過50多年的音樂旅途一直到現在。
