舷窗定義
ISO 6345-1990 第4.2章節規定：”Side Scuttle: ISO standardized type of an opening hinged or non-opening round ship’s window with or without deadlight.”（由於ISO檔案編寫規定的三種法定語言中並無漢語，因此以英文版詞條為準）
ISO 6345-1990《造船及海上結構物-窗和舷窗-辭彙》第4.2章節規定：“有或沒有風暴蓋的開式鉸鏈型或固定的ISO標準化型式的船用圓形窗。”
等效採用ISO 1751《造船-舷窗》編訂的中華人民共和國國家標準GB/T 14413-93中，第3.1章節規定的舷窗定義為：“符合1974年國際海上人命安全公約和船舶建造入級規範，設定在舷側外板、上層結構和甲板室外艙壁等處具有水密性的圓形窗。”
