1997年12月獲無錫輕工業學院發酵工程專業博士學位；1989年12月獲無錫輕工業學院發酵工程專業碩士學位。
研究經歷
2000年6月-2001年6月，香港科技大學博士後；2003年7月-2004年12月，美國夏威夷大學訪問科學家。

近5年來完成或承擔了包括國家863項目、國家自然科學基金、“長江學者和創新團隊發展計畫”創新團隊項目等在內的國家、省部級項目11項。發表SCI收錄論文102篇，其中第一作者/責任作者SCI論文43篇；出版相關著作4部；獲授權發明專利45項，申請發明專利52項；獲得6項國家科技進步獎二等獎和省部級獎勵。獲江蘇省教學成果特等獎2項、國家教學成果二等獎1項。擔任國家精品課程“生化工程”的負責人。09年入選新世紀百千萬人才工程國家級人選、獲全國優秀教師稱號。擔任Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture副主編。
