劇情
《007大破量子危機》邦德被他鍾情的女子Vesper背叛，開始執行他的一下個任務。經過對一個叫懷特（加斯帕克里斯滕森飾）的男子的審訊，邦德和頂頭上司M女士（仍由朱迪丹奇扮演）得到了一個曾經勒索過Vesper的犯罪組織的情報，這個組織非常複雜，危害程度超過任何人的想像。
另一方面，英國情報人員在對軍情六處的一個叛徒進行調查後，無意中發現了一個在海地設立的銀行賬戶。在海地，邦德因為一件詭異的案子，結識了美女Camille。性感的Camille脾氣不好，內心被外人所不知的復仇欲控制。
通過Camille，邦德接觸到一個叫DominicGreene（馬修阿馬立克飾）的商人。他冷酷無情，背後操縱著一個強大的神秘組織。帶著這些線索，邦德奔波於奧地利、義大利和南美等地。
在調查的旅途中，邦德逐漸發現，Greene正在實施一個驚天動地的陰謀：聯手產油國一位已被政府驅逐的Medrano將軍（喬昆科西歐飾），達到全面控制該國一片富藏資源的土地的目的。
但Greene是個硬角色，他不僅情報靈通，而且人脈極廣，美國中央情報局和英國政府都與他有見不得光的骯髒交易。最為可怕的好似，Greene已向他的合作夥伴們做出推翻產油國當局政權承諾。
在隨時隨地有可能遭遇背叛、謀殺和騙局的情勢中，邦德與他在總部的老搭檔一道，奮勇過關，逐漸逼近事實真相。而邦德發現，如果想成功破壞Greene的險惡計畫，停止他的組織犯罪活動，最終挫敗這個驚天陰謀，他不僅要比中央情報局、恐怖分子領先一步，而且在關鍵時刻，他還必須越過頂頭上司M女士，獨自行動……
