郭玉勁，男，博士，研究員，中科院“百人計畫”候選人。主要經歷
2000-2003年, 師從於華中師大鄧引斌教授，獲得數學專業碩士學位；2003-2007年，師從於加拿大皇家科學院院士、加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學Nassif Ghoussoub教授，獲得數學專業哲學博士學位。
2007-2011年，任美國明尼蘇達大學Dunham Jackson助理教授。
2011-2012年，任加拿大康哥迪亞大學LTA助理教授。2012年8月任中科院武漢物理與數學研究所研究員、中科院“百人計畫”候選人。
研究領域
量子多體(物理)系統中的變分問題Bose-Einstein 凝聚（BEC）中的非線性泛函分析問題，微機電系統（MEMS）及其它各種物理現象中的偏微分方程問題。代表論著
