anberlin，美國佛羅里達州Alternative/Indie樂隊。。
由主唱Stephen Christian、吉他手 Joseph Milligan、 Nathan Strayer、貝斯 Deon Rexroat、鼓手 Nathan Young，2001年成軍於美國佛羅里達州的奧蘭多市，他們靠著一張收錄五首作品的試唱帶，成功吸引西雅圖獨立廠牌Tooth & Nail的注意，並在2002年成為其旗下一員。樂隊的名字Anberlin是主唱Stephen Christian原本打算為他自己女兒所起的名字，雖然樂隊中沒有任何人已婚或是有孩子的...
2003年Anberlin發表首張大碟《Blueprints for the Black Market》後，與打倒男孩(fall out boy)、風雲人物(Story Of The Year)及 我的另類羅曼史(my chemical romance)等樂團一同巡迴演出，聯手新一代的搖滾盛世，為樂壇帶來一波波的高潮與希望。Anberlin的團員皆是虔誠的基督教徒，創作也總是傳遞積極正面正面的人生觀，他們卻不甘被歸類為Christian Rock/Punk的一員。就Christian Rock權威網站Christianitytoday com對他們的描述，Anberlin精采多元的音樂表現，確實突破狹隘的音樂分類。該網站認為Anberlin的音樂與Interpol、Joy Division及The smiths一脈相承，卻又有The Fray、Panic! At the Disco等新樂團的流行潛質。至於誤被歸類為Christian Rock/punk，主唱曾經多次表示，信仰和音樂是分開的，可能這些年在tooth&nail（著名Christian廠牌）旗下發行了眾多作品才導致大家以為他們是福音搖滾。
2005年第二張專輯《Never Take Friendship Personal》問世後，Anberlin這個名字承載更多樂迷與專業媒體的期望，All Music Guide便給予四顆星優質肯定。
相隔兩年後Anberlin回來了，流暢悅耳的旋律鋪陳、爆發力十足的搖滾力道再加上善感敏銳的歌詞創作，《Cities》是他們第三張錄音室專輯，也是宣告樂隊屬於巔峰時期的最佳證明。主唱Stephen Christian的嗓音依舊飛騰昂揚，〈Godspeed〉、〈A Whisper and a clamor〉有著今日搖滾樂隊必備的激情與霸氣；〈The Unwinding Cable Car〉以原音吉他與簡單合音緊扣人心；〈There Is No Mathematics to Love and Loss〉與〈Alexithymia〉深具Jimmy Eat World的爽朗威猛風範。
2007年11月樂隊再度推出新專輯《Lost Songs》，封面很簡單，給人感覺很乾淨，跟整張專輯的曲風和搭配。
視聽之後感覺很合胃口，特別配樂的吉他，真是悅耳，狂野的氛圍之中不忘旋律的鋪陳。其中收錄了曾在《Punk Goes 90s》 專輯中收錄的翻唱Depeche Mode的《Enjoy the Silence》，以及樂隊向Radiohead致敬而翻唱的《creep》。
