買64位雙核心產品 許你一個未來
宏碁行銷企畫處行銷企畫部經理陳國欽表示，現階段買64位雙核心的產品，其實是買一個未來，著眼於2007年初對64位的Windwos Vista作業系統的兼容擴充性，而AMD Turion 64×2雙核心CPU，無論在電源管理(Power Management)，或效能表現(Performance)上，都較AMD前幾代的產品為佳，持續的效能提升，對OEM廠商來說自是樂觀其成。
論及英特爾(Intel)與AMD產品的差異，陳國欽認為Intel提供了1套完整的平台(CPU+晶片組+無線網路)，這樣的套裝價格與AMD產品必須另搭他家晶片組與網路晶片的方案相比，自是較為便宜，但相對而言在產品規格設計上也較受到限制;AMD推出的Turion 64×2則是1套較具開放性架構，在效能部分，與Intel價位相當的產品運算效果也十分相近。
宏碁的Aspire 5110系列以新台幣4萬元左右的主流售價，主打看中AMD產品效能的效能導向族群，並不特別針對家庭用途或商務用途做出定位，而是偏向複合型的用途。例如，有行動會議需求的商務人士，就可善用Aspire 5110內建的WebCam與麥克風;而高效能的獨立繪圖晶片，則可兼顧重度遊戲玩家的顯示需求。
