該病毒通過郵件傳播，它通過自身的發信模組傳送信件，信件的標題、內容和附屬檔案名都是可變的，附屬檔案是一個擴展名為exe或zip的檔案。
該病毒還會修改本地hosts檔案，使用戶訪問不了包括各大防毒軟體廠商網站在內的站點及微軟公司的技術支持站點，無法更新安全程式。
a.病毒啟動後會創建如下檔案：

b.向系統中添加一個服務：
服務名稱：RPC32
顯示名稱：Network Explorer
描述：Starts and configures accessibility tools from one window
執行檔路徑：%system%\rpc32.exe
c.向用戶的hosts檔案中添加如下項目，導致用戶無法訪問一些安全站點，並阻止一些安全軟體的更新
