劃面

劃面通過橫切或縱剖、或同時使用這兩種方法所獲得的板材或厚板的一部分。在普通等級中，劃面應當足夠平整，在從板材上鋸解下來之後，可以對兩面進行刨光，達到標準刨光材厚度。在特選級或更好的級別中，整塊板材都應當平整到可以被兩面刨光至標準刨光材厚度。斜向切割出的劃面是不允許的。
