團隊簡介
Slug的黑人父親和白人母親在他十幾歲的時候離婚，少年時期的Slug從塗鴉和街舞開始接觸Hip-Hop，並在高中時與兩個同學Siddiq Ali (Stress) 和Derek Turner (Spawn)組成了the Rhyme Sayers Collective團體。在早期Slug是作為DJ參加Atmosphere演出的，而Spawn負責說唱。後來這兩人結識了製作人Ant，以及與他們志同道合的MC Musab、Mr. Gene Poole和the Abstract Pack，並聯合成一個underground Hip Hop組織,Slug也轉做MC潛心研究Freestyle與歌詞藝術，更積極宣揚反對匪幫的思想。不久，來自著名地下DJ團體1200Hobos的唱盤手Mr.Dibbs也加入近來。自1998年的首張專輯《Overcast!》之後，Atmosphere始終在全美各地和海外不停的巡演；並依靠頻繁的演出而確立了堅實的樂迷基礎，逐漸成長為美國獨立Hip Hop陣營的代表團體。"在路上"已經成為Atmosphere的標籤。
