專輯介紹
來自密西西比州Star小鎮的FaithHill三歲開始在教堂演唱，從小便對歌唱表演充滿熱情，FaithHill成長的過程中深受福音和鄉村音樂影響，擁有一副媲美黑人的靈魂唱腔的FaithHill，13歲學習吉他，之後進入HindsJuniorCollege就讀，以豐富的表演經驗成為學校風雲人物，接著她獨立來到納許維爾，追尋兒時歌唱夢，從賣t-shirt、進入唱片相關行業轉而表演，受到名經紀人蓋瑞莫利斯賞識，開啟她的巨星扉頁。
93年秋天，FaithHill推出處女作《TakeMeAsI Am》（FaithHill本色）寫下戲劇化開始，專輯第一首歌"WildOne"一推出便獲鄉村榜四周冠軍，成為自64年Connie Smith來，第一位有此成績的新進歌手；銷售達200萬張的專輯還產生"TakeMeAsIAm"、翻唱JanisJoplin "PieceOfMyHeart"另兩首冠軍曲，FaithHill風光拿下各項年度新人獎。
95年第二張專輯《ItMattersToMe》（在乎）則獲得更多支持，同名單曲"ItMattersToMe"成為第四首冠軍曲，整張作品帶有濃厚個人色彩，還締造五首Top10紀錄，至此FaithHill已成為美國樂壇重要女歌手。
