Five For Fighting
1997年，John Ondrasik以“Five For Fighting”這個名字在Capitol公司發行了他的首張個人專輯《Message for Albert》。三年之後，Five For Fighting的第二張專輯《America Town》通過Columbia正式發行。在這張專輯中，John Ondrasik的歌曲不僅一如既往的歌頌愛與生命，而且開始逐漸偏向政治，而Ondrasik的創作才華開始得到越來越多歌迷的認可。隨著專輯中動人的鋼琴情歌《Superman (It's Not Easy)》，《America Town》的銷量很快也突破了白金。在“911”事件之後，John Ondrasik在當年冬天舉辦的紀念演唱會中演唱了這首《Superman (It's Not Easy)》，使得這首歌曲更加的深入人心。2004年2月，Five For Fighting發行了第三張專輯《The Battle for Everything》。這張專輯是Five For Fighting最有野心，也是歌詞最為大膽的一張專輯。2006年8月，Five For Fighting第四張錄音室專輯《Two Lights》出爐。本張專輯發行首周以5萬2千張的單周銷量名列Billboard 200專輯榜第八位，成為Five For Fighting迄今為止首周銷量最高，打榜成績最好的專輯。
歌手簡介
Five For Fighting被美國創作型歌手John Ondrasik用作藝名，實際上，Five For Fighting這個詞原來是冰球比賽中的一項規則，指被裁判罰下場5分鐘等待重新上場的隊員。John Ondrasik出生並成長於洛杉磯的San Fernando Valley地區，母親是一位鋼琴教師。從兩歲開始，John Ondrasik就開始跟隨母親學習音樂。在13歲那年，已經精通鋼琴演奏的John Ondrasik開始自學了吉他。之後，John Ondrasik開始嘗試自己作曲。興趣廣泛的John Ondrasik甚至還專門學習過唱歌劇，但過了不久，他就發現歌劇並不是他真正喜歡的，最吸引他的還是比利·喬（Billy Joel），旅行樂隊（Journey），埃爾頓·約翰（Elton John），史蒂夫·旺德（Stevie Wonder）和Earth, Wind & Fire樂隊的音樂。
