《DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love》由馬克斯·馬丁、史奇雷克斯、薩萬·科特查和皮普保羅共同創作，馬克斯·馬丁和史奇雷克斯負責歌曲製作。歌曲的錄製在瑞典斯德哥爾摩的Maratone錄音室和美國洛杉磯Conway錄音室完成，錄音工作由山姆·荷蘭德與艾米麗·萊特負責，混音工作由瑟班·吉尼亞在MixStar錄音室完成。這首歌曲最初是送給蕾哈娜的，但蕾哈娜拒絕了。
