隨著2010年世界盃分檔的推出，可口可樂公司也公布了2010南非世界盃的主題推廣歌主題歌。一首叫做《飄揚的旗幟（Wavin’Flag）》的歌曲。演唱者為 31歲的歌手克南（K'naan），他出生在索馬里的一個藝術之家，由於國內局勢動盪，13歲隨家人移居加拿大，但他仍然心繫索馬里，創作的很多歌曲都和索馬里局勢相關。該歌曲擁有眾多不同版本，其中克南與張學友、張靚穎一起演唱的國語版又名《旗開得勝》。

這首歌背後其實有另一段故事。現在看到的可口可樂主題曲版本，是經過大幅修改的。真正的原曲，一點都不快樂，內容是十分強烈的控訴。

創作這首歌的歌手K'naan，出生在索馬里的一個藝術之家，由於國內局勢動盪，13歲隨家人移居加拿大，但他仍然心繫索馬里，創作的很多歌曲都和索馬里局勢相關。《飄揚的旗幟》是他今年2月底發行的專輯《游吟詩人》中的一首歌，歌曲帶有濃郁的非洲氣息，表達了對這片充滿戰火、貧窮和落後的土地不離不棄的熱愛。

這首歌本來寫的是以一個戰地兒童的視角，表達在現實的掙扎、對自由的企盼、和對戰爭的控訴。全曲洋溢著濃郁的人文關懷。

作者簡介

現居加拿大的克南出生於索馬里的藝術家庭。祖父哈吉穆罕默德是一個詩人，姐姐馬谷爾（Magool）是索馬里最有名的歌手。後來由於索馬里內戰導致局勢惡化，13歲的克南隨家人移民美國然後輾轉到加拿大。《旗幟飄揚》出自克南的第三張專輯《游吟詩人（Troubadour）》。
