內容簡介
影片改編自美國熱門系列劇《雷諾911》 ，只是劇中的無能警察們從內華達跑到了佛羅里達，因為他們應邀參加全國警察會議。他們分別是篤信武力解決一切的詹姆斯·加西亞、抱有救贖心態的凱麗莎·金保、惟恐被炒魷魚的小特拉維斯、作過優酪乳推銷員的特魯迪·韋格爾、老兵吉姆·當格、愛搞副業的克萊門汀·詹森、為了權錢加入警局的蕾妮莎·威廉士和為黑人伸張正義的瓊斯。當他們抵達邁阿密時，登記上的錯誤讓他們沒能和其他與會者一起住進度假中心，而是住進了廉價的汽車旅館。
在警察大會上，恐怖分子釋放了化學武器，2000多名邁阿密警察被困在會場，城中唯一能執法的只剩下這8名來自里諾的笨瓜警察。他們不僅要維護邁阿密全城的治安，還要查清會議中心恐怖攻擊的幕後真兇。另外，一位大毒梟正在威脅著他們的安全，而一位女警員在一夜情狂歡之後被紋在胸前的神秘圖案也讓他們莫名其妙……
