中共黨員，中國科學技術大學教授，博士生導師，
汪毓明1999年7月獲理學學士學位，之後師從空間物理學界泰斗王水院士。
2003年獲理學博士學位。
2004年被中國科學技術大學地球和空間科學學院聘為副教授，
2005年底晉升為教授，
2006年被聘為博士生導師，
2004年起擔任空間物理教研室黨支部副書記至今。
主要從事日地物理和空間天氣學方面研究。已發表論文39篇，其中SCI檢索33篇，他人獨立引用100多次。首次提出了多重磁雲概念，相關的數值模擬研究作為封面論文發表在Astronomy & Astrophysics上。多次應邀為國際一流期刊Astronomy & Astrophysics, Journal of Geophysical Research,Geophysical Research Letters等評閱論文。

入選2004年度教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計畫
2005年獲得國家傑出青年科學基金資助

傅承義青年科技獎是由中國地球物理學會設立的紀念地球物理先驅傅承義先生的獎項，每年頒發一次，授予過去五年在地球物理學科做出突出成績的1-5名中國青年地球物理工作者。
