杜德橋

杜德橋 (Glen Dudbridge, 1938-2017) 教授,英國著名的漢學家。

基本信息

主要經歷:

1938年出生於英國的Clevedon, Somerset。

1962年於劍橋大學獲得學士學位。

1963年至1964年就讀於香港新亞研究所(New Asia Institute of Advanced Chinese Studies)。

1967年於牛津大學獲得博士學位。

1965年至1985年任牛津大學講師(lecturer)。

1985年被劍橋大學委任為教授。

1989年起任牛津大學教授、漢學系主任(Director of the Institute for Chinese Studies)。

現為牛津大學榮休教授,併兼任英國學術院中國組主席、當代亞洲研究委員會主席等職。
