1970年畢業於北京大學化學系, 1982年獲碩士學位。1997年任東北大學教授。2002年任博士生導師。1994年獲政府特殊津貼。主要學術及社會兼職
2001年為“冶金分析”編委。科研方向
近年來主要從事納米分析化學研究，包括納米金、量子點、稀土雜化納米粒子及其基因改良仿生法製備和套用研究。最近主持的國家自然科學基金課題為“腫瘤標誌物納米量子點免疫檢測及其細胞標記成像研究”和“CdTe量子點的轉基因仿生製備及套用研究”。參與的國家自然科學基金課題有重點項目“複雜基體樣品系統生命物質的分離富集於鑑定方法研究”和 面上項目“仿生微流控流動注射分析系統的研究”。論著成果及所受獎勵
在國內外重要學術刊物發表論文120餘篇，合作出版譯著兩部，專著兩部。1990 和1993年獲中科院自然科學二等獎兩項，1995年獲國家自然科學獎一項，2001年獲遼寧省自然科學獎一項，2007年獲教育部自然科學一等獎一項。國際交流情況：
1986年3-4月份，去瑞典進行流動注射分析儀器維修培訓；
1990年至1991年去德國Perkin-Elmer公司合作研究半年；
1998年3月去美國參加匹茨堡分析化學大會；
2000年去德國合作研究兩個月；
2002年10月去美國參加第二屆分析化學與光譜聯盟年會（FACSS）；
2003年10月-2004年9月,加拿大國家研究院合作研究一年。
