早年經歷
奧立薇婭·瑪恩奧立薇婭兩歲時母親再嫁給了一位美國空軍。之後他們離開奧立薇婭的出生地，陸續搬過了很多地方，期間在日本東京住了很長時間，穆恩的繼父駐紮於東京都，這段時間裡，她曾參演地方戲劇，也曾當過模特。
穆恩的父母離異後，她回到了出生地，並且在此地完成了高中學業。之後，穆恩考上了俄克拉何馬大學讀書，就讀於新聞學和日本戲劇。完成學業後，她前往洛杉磯，想實現自己的演員夢。
演藝經歷
奧立薇婭·瑪恩2005年末，她在電視系列劇《Beyond the BreakBack》中扮演了Mily Acuna，之後她在《獄中豪傑》中扮演了羅伯·施奈德的接待員Maria。同時她還主持了網路視頻節目the Daily Nut和Formula D。
2008年她到G4電視台工作，開始與Kevin Pereira 共同主持有關電子遊戲的節目《Attack of the Show》。4月10日，她取代主持人 Sarah Lane。
2010男性時尚雜誌《Maxim》公布了其“2010年度百大性感熱辣女郎”排行榜，位於第八位 。
2012年男性雜誌《Maxim》評選出“100位2012全球最火辣女星”排行榜中，位於第二 。同年出演《新聞編輯室》（The Newsroom）中的Sloan Sabbith。2016年飾演《X戰警：天啟》中的靈蝶。
個人生活
父親是薩姆·瑪恩(Sam Munn)有德國裔和愛爾蘭裔血統，母親金·瑪恩(Kim Munn)是華裔血統和越南裔血統，他們有五個孩子。
