Attitudes Toward Work
At the beginning of paragraph 1, the “authoritarian and dehumanizing environment” makes me draw my attention. The author’s meaning for first sentence is that works workers in the past are just work for work, but now, they begin to think the meaning in of their work and balance in their lives.
In my opinion, money is the main reason for works workers to work, but as the author said, the works workers want meaning in their work, is the money unmeaning for the work? Of course not, maybe beside the money, the meaning include achievement, interest, and so on. As the developing of the social, works workers get more and more rights, so they will be strange for authoritarian and dehumanizing environment.
When I read the paragraph 2, the last sentence let me think about teamwork, it’s the modern way for works workers to improve efficiency for work, but firstly the team must be balance. If the environment isn’t suit for the team, change it as soon as possible.
From the paragraph 3, as I know, it’s important for works workers to choice a suitable work as we set a suitable goal, not too little challenge and not too much challenge, and then we will catch it with our work, after we enjoy the success or achievement, we will be more confident to do the rest work.
