基本信息
iyaz在維京群島的Tortola島上出生長大，出身音樂家庭的他本來是把音樂當作愛好，只在MySpace網站上展示了自己的一些作品，沒想到他的網頁恰好被美國人氣歌星Sean Kingston看到。之後Sean Kingston給Iyaz寫了好幾封郵件卻都沒見他回復，因為Iyaz根本不敢相信真的是大名鼎鼎的Sean Kingston從美國給他寫信要求見面簽約。
好事多磨，在Iyaz終於回信給Sean Kingston之後，他隨即被介紹簽約華納旗下的唱片公司，之後馬上推出的首張單曲Replay（《重放》）就在美國Billboard流行單曲榜拿到了第一名的優秀成績。本周Iyaz正式進軍英國，事實證明他在美國引起的轟動也已經波及英國，Replay直接入榜Chart UK No.1。
