歌手簡介

Cat Stevens，凱特·斯蒂文斯，（原名：Steven Georgiou，史蒂文·喬治烏；現名：Yusuf Islam，尤素福·伊斯拉姆）是二十世紀七十年代英國民謠搖滾的代表人物，15歲擁有第一把吉他後，開始其創作生涯，1965年被製作人Mike Hurst發現，1967年3月發行首張唱片《Matthew and Son》，1968年因感染肺結核告別歌壇，1970年以《Mona Bone Jakon》復出，此後推出民謠搖滾史上經典之作《Tea for the Tillerman》、《Teaser and the Firecat》，1978年7月4日改名為Yusuf Islam，1979年底退出歌壇。1995年開始在自己的Mountain of Light廠牌發行了10張單是鼓加人聲的專輯，而這些內容收錄在其精選集《Footsteps in the Light》中，2006年在告別歌壇近三十年後發行其首張流行音樂專輯《An Other Cup》，最新專輯《Roadsinger》於2009年5月由島嶼唱片發行。
