任環境化學編輯委員會委員、環境地質地球化學委員會委員。研究內容及取得的重要成果:與全球變化及區域環境有關的重要痕量氣體的源與匯研究,其中包括:痕量氣體(飽和及不飽和醇類和酯類化合物、含鹵化合物、還原態含硫化合物等)在大氣中的微觀反應動力學和機理;痕量氣體(還原態含硫化合物、過氧乙醯基硝酸酯、苯系物和醛酮類化合物等)在大氣中的污染水平及特徵;痕量氣體(COS、DMS、異戊二烯、N2O、NOx、NH3等)在不同生態系統與大氣間的交換。在痕量氣體在大氣中的微觀反應動力學和機理研究方面,率先報導了幾種醇類化合物、含氯化合物等與OH自由基和Cl原子的反應速率常數、溫度依賴係數以及反應機理,並得到國際著名資料庫(NIST)收錄;認識到醇類化合物與HONO的暗反應可能為大氣中醇類化合物的重要去除途徑等。在痕量氣體在大氣中的污染水平及特徵研究方面,率先報導了降水在太陽光輻射下COS產生的重要現象;降水中COS前體物主要來自降水對大氣的洗脫;通過冰晶中COS及其前體物測定認識到近百年人類活動導致了降水中的濃度顯著提高等;在痕量氣體交換研究方面,獲得了大量野外觀測數據,在國際著名期刊發表論文多篇,為評估不同生態系統對區域以及全球環境影響提供重要科學依據。負責在研課題:大氣中COS前體物的時空分布以及對環境的可能影響,國家自然科學基金項目;大氣氣溶膠和光化學二次污染物的耦合相互作用研究,國家自然科學基金重點項目;大氣中典型揮發性有機物(BTEX)自動採樣及監測,中國科學院知識創新工程重要方向項目;典型農田和動物糞便NOx和NH3排放,973項目。
