《星球大戰2：帝國反擊戰》是星球大戰系列電影的第二部，由厄文·克什納執導，馬克·哈米爾、哈里森·福特等主演。本片榮獲1981年奧斯卡最佳音響獎。電影於1980年5月21日上映。

一個落到叛軍基地哈夫星。盧克在一次巡邏時發生意外。昏迷中，克諾比的靈魂出現，給了他前往狄克行星尋找絕地武士老師尤達的啟示。盧克向他學習成為絕地武士的功夫。梭羅和公主等人意外發現洞穴實際上是一頭怪物的內腹。他們僥倖逃出，躲入帝國的艦隊之中，又乘著空隙前往雲中之城尋找梭羅過去的朋友蘭多。由於黑武士撕毀協定，蘭多投向叛軍。他救出公主等人，卻未能救下梭羅。黑武士一心勸誘盧克投降，並告訴盧克他就是盧克的父親。盧克拒絕了父親的勸降，躍下深井。

·拍攝《帝國反擊戰》時由於盧卡斯本人忙於公司事宜分身乏術，所以請來他在南加州大學讀書時的老師厄文·柯什納擔任導演，結果多年過去，《帝國反擊戰》在fans心中的地位日益提高，如今已經遠遠超過《新希望》，這恐怕也是盧卡斯始料不及的吧。
·在原始劇本中，莉婭說完“我愛你”之後，漢·梭羅的台詞應該是：“你可記住了啊，莉婭，我可是會回來的。
