美國駐成都總領事館開館於１９８５年１０月１６日，１９９３年８月２日由錦江賓館遷入位於領事館路４號的現館舍，在市中心的南邊。
成都領事區由四川省、雲南省、貴州省、西藏自治區及重慶直轄市組成。
領事館星期一至星期五上午８：３０至下午５：３０辦公，在美國和本地節日期間閉館。

The American Consulate General at Chengdu opened on October 16, 1985. On August 2, 1993, the Consulate General completed its move from the Jinjiang Hotel to its current facility at No. 4 Lingshiguan Road, just south of the city center.
The Chengdu consular district is made up of the Provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou, as well as the Tibet Autonomous Region and Chongqing City Municipality.
The Consulate is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.The consulate is closed on US and local holidays.
