電影劇情
瘋狗、馬丁、楊威、豬木等幾個眷村的年輕人，整日不讀書，成群結隊的在村子裡消遙放蕩，日子過的非常快樂。由於團結封閉的心態，所以對眷村外的人都視如仇敵，時常有打架糾紛等事情發生。村子裡的女孩小笛與花痴經常是這群不良少年打架的導火線，每次都讓家長們頭痛萬分，也不知道如何教導。 有一天，眷村中失火了，他們一起出動熱心救火，卻被鄰居誤認為是縱火兇嫌，怎麼解釋也沒人相信他們，最後在老家混不下去了，四人雄心勃勃的想到台北打天下，誤認為以他們的力量在都市裡可以結黨稱王，所以每到一個地方就想全面占領，鬧出不少的笑話。 最後，幼稚的幻想被現實打敗破滅，只好將這一段成長的經驗，重新裝進行囊，再回到鄉下的眷村去了。
Synopsi
Mad Dog, Martin, Yang Wei, and Chu-Mu hang out their friends all day and roam around the village with nothing to do. Being a tightly-knit group, they often fight and cause trouble with outsiders. The village girls Hsiao-Di and Hua-Chih frequently are source of conflict for these young delinquents. One day, the village catches fire, and these young boys nobly try to put out the fire. A neighbor mistakenly thinks the boys are responsible for the fire. No matter how they try to explain, nobody believes them. The four boys are cast out of the village and decide to head out to conquer the city of Taipei. In the big city, they learn a few things about life and the reality of the world around them but not before they have a few laughs along the way.
