劇情簡介

等家庭喜劇，再到《我為什麼結婚了》、《我為什麼也結婚了》和《拜見布朗一家》等愛情喜劇等等。泰勒·派瑞和他好友演員們，用黑人特有表達方式，接連演繹了好萊塢獨樹一幟的類型片。而近 年來，已經不再專心搞笑的泰勒，則著重在自己持續自編自導自製片的電影作品中，開始強調對家庭、人性、乃至生命的嚴肅式的探討和表述。兩年前的《彩虹艷盡半邊天》和這部《婚姻顧問》便是此類的代表。而一貫保持著“純黑人主創”的泰勒·派瑞的電影，也始終保持著其作品嚴格的高品質。儘管外界評論褒貶不一，單從電影本身來看，泰勒·派瑞絕對是個處處精益求精的電影人。在本片《婚禮顧問》中，泰勒·派瑞再度將視角落在了兩性的婚姻和家庭中，並融合了世俗和人性的種種元素，用一個身為婚姻顧問業界的專業人士卻反被婚姻所困的故事，告知人們，“婚姻很難，婚姻又不難。”的道理。而此番他啟用的主演陣容中，除了老朋友蘭斯·格羅斯之外，則皆為首度合作的“新手”：朱尼·斯莫利特此前僅在《冰上迪斯科》和《重振球風》等片中飾演配角；金·卡戴珊則是時尚界的活躍人物，腐女帕麗斯·希爾頓的好友；只有凡妮莎·L·威廉士有著豐富的表演經歷，《絕望主婦》、《醜女貝蒂》等熱播劇中皆能看到她的身影。
