劇情介紹
《月光光心慌慌2》本片講述的仍然是萬聖節前夕，Michael Myers在逃脫Loomis（Donald Pleasence飾）醫生的控制後重獲自由。為此，整個警察局全力通緝Myers。Myers一直視Laurie Strode（Jamie Lee Curtis飾）為自己的下一個犧牲品。由於在上集中受Myers的過度驚嚇，Laurie住進Haddonfield醫院接受治療。只有Loomis醫生和警長Brackett（他的女兒被Myers謀殺）意識到了Myers在鎮上的存在這一事實，另有一人也在不知不覺中感到Myers正在逼進Laurie。當Myers追到Haddonfield醫院時，他幾乎殺死了全部醫護人員。與此同時，在Loomis準備把Myers用作試驗對象的計畫參與者之一Marion Chambers遇到了Loomis，Marion告訴他Myers為何對Laurie窮追不捨的原因：原來Myers是Laurie的弟弟，比Laurie小兩歲。Loomis擊敗了欲把他送回史密斯樹林的高級官員，奔赴Haddonfield醫院，希望能及時阻止Myers的殺戮。

幕後製作
傑米·李·柯蒂斯在二十年前主演的《月光光心慌慌》為低成本恐怖片打開了賣座大門，直至再度主演的新續集《H2O抓鬼節》也大受歡迎。本片則是她與唐納·普倫斯合演的第一部續集，由原來的導演約翰．卡本特擔任編劇，換上新人維克·羅森塔爾執導。劇情延續第一集，描述倖存者羅莉在醫院接受治療，逐漸從震嚇中康復，而精神變態的殺手麥克邁爾斯則逃出警方的掌握，在鎮上到處追殺羅莉。片中在緊張氣氛的經營上沒有第一集成功，而且加重了不少血腥暴力的鏡頭，但仍算是同類電影中較成功之作，對恐怖片迷有一定的吸引力。
