形態特徵
菲律賓火筒樹（台灣植物志，Leea philippinensis Merr. in Philip. Journ. Sci. 1. Suppl.: 89. 1906; Ridsdale in Blumea 22(1): 80. f. 2: 3. 1974; 台灣植物志 3:681.1977.），直立喬木。葉為羽狀複葉，小葉5-13對，小葉片頂端長漸尖，邊緣有粗圓齒；葉柄長約1厘米。
菲律賓火筒樹聚傘花序長達10厘米，被銹色短柔毛，直徑約20厘米；花蕾綠色，卵球形；花瓣長卵形，頂端急尖，無毛，黃色或綠色，花時粉紅色。果實扁球形，高約1厘米，有種子3-4顆；種子近球形，直徑約6毫米。
生境分布
菲律賓火筒樹產於中國台灣省。菲律賓也有菲律賓火筒樹分布。菲律賓火筒樹未見標本，上述記載摘自《台灣植物志》。
