I think the content of this two parts is interesting, when some poems were published, writer has talk this thing with others for months and months, and no matter local and long distance. Even when came across a stranger who was lost and asked for help, the writer would also detain him long enough to enlighten the stranger his accomplishment.
I do not understand why the sentence “I eventually—it took me awhile—calmed down” consists [是不及物動詞,不能這樣用]two dashes. You see, it is so short and no necessary [necessity ]to use some dashes. Eventually, I think the pause may lively express [expresses]the author’s long—time show [showing]off behavior. They have their own function [functions]here.
Finally, I have learnt some new vocabularies and phrases. for Instance, work into, confess, detain and so on. The dictionary tells me what are their meaning and the usage, they are useful to me.
