《Things I Do For You》是麥可傑克遜和Jackie、Marlon、Randy、Tito一起創作的歌曲。The Jacksons為他們1978 年12月發行的專輯《Destiny》錄製。
英國發行的單曲唱片《Lovely One》的B面收錄。
美國發行的單曲唱片《Heartbreak Hotel》的B面收錄。
在美國樂隊大舞台節目和靈歌列車節目中都由The Jacksons演唱過。1979年他們自 己的午夜特別電視節目中也有演出。另外在英國BBC二台播出的《Destiny》巡迴演唱會上也有此曲的演出錄像。
Michael在他Bad世界巡迴演出中演唱過。巡迴演出中的一場演唱會在日本的Nippon
TV電視台播出過。
1981年9月在紐約麥迪遜廣場花園舉辦的演唱會上錄製的現場版收錄在The Jacksons
1981年11月發行的專輯《Live》中。
現場版在英國曾經作為單曲發行。部分單曲唱片還附送海報（美國沒有發行）。但是發行後未能登榜。這個版本還收錄在Michael英國發行的單曲唱片《Thriller》的B面。

The Jackson 5The Jackson 5是Motown（摩城）最後一支偉大的，也是70年代最成功的流行樂組合之一。
組合由五兄弟組成：Jackie(1951年5月4日出生)，Tito(1953年10月15日出生)，Jermaine(1954年12月11日出生)，Marlon(1957年3月12日出生)和Michael Jackson(1958年8月29日)出生。 他們在印地安娜州的加里市長大，最早是由其父Joe Jackson於1966年組織的演唱組。基本上他們都是圍繞著Michael的主唱進行表演，雖然他年紀最小，但是顯而易見他最富天才。 這個組合引起了Motown的注意並於1969年簽約。他們最早的四首歌曲是“I Want You Back”,“ABC”,“The Love You Save”和“I'll Be There”，全部進入過1970年榜首位置。 1971年的“Mama's Pearl”和“Never Can Say Goodbye”幾乎一樣成功。 1972年，Motown將Michael Jackson和Jermaine Jackson放了單飛，以後的日子裡組合的影響逐漸開始變小，儘管1974年他們重拳出擊了《Dance Machine》。1975年，Jackie,Tito,Marlon和Michael與Epic唱片公司簽約，加上兄弟Randy(1961年10月29日出生)，組成了“the Jacksons”(the Jackson 5的名字屬於Motown)。（Jermain一直呆在Motown,直到1984年重新加入這個組合）。樂隊成員Michael Jackson（麥可·傑克遜）後來成為家喻戶曉的流行之王（king of pop）。
