Sausalito原名為Saucelito (小柳樹之意，只是現在無法在此看到一棵柳樹，取而代之的是富有熱帶風情的棕櫚樹)，是美國加利福尼亞州西部的一個城市，位於舊金山灣金門大橋的北端，是一個住宅區、藝術家活動的地區和划船勝地。這裡是一個繁忙大都會旁的世外桃源。沒有林立的高樓，沒有西裝筆挺的人潮，有的只是依山傍水且各具特色的住宅，加上停在岸邊一整排的遊艇，置身其中，感覺像是來到了歐洲地中海，沒想到在金門大橋的另一頭竟是別有洞天
