安娜斯塔西亞（Anastacia）。在紐約長大成人的安娜斯塔茜亞出生在一個娛樂世家，父親是歌手，母親是百老匯音樂劇演員。曾在Club MTV和Salt-N-Pepa的《Everybody Get Up》、《Twist and Shout》等MV中表演。1999年殺入MTV才藝秀The Cut的決賽後，她的表現引起了唱片公司的關注。隨後她與索尼音樂的Epic唱片公司簽約，錄製的第一張專輯《Not That Kind》於2000年在全球發行，立刻取得巨大成功，專輯在八個歐洲和遠東國家打入排行榜前十名，銷量超過兩百萬張。
