主要從事教學和科研工作。研究方向包括極端條件下物質結構、相變與性能,新功能材料的原子分子設計,原位中子衍射高壓技術及裝置研發等。負責和參加包括國家自然科學基金、國防重點實驗室基金和橫向基金等多項科研項目。開發並研製出具有自主智慧財產權的用於原位中子衍射的高壓裝置。作為第一發明人申請國家發明專利1項。以第一作者在 J. Appl. Phys., Eur. Phys. J. D, Phys. B, Eur. Phys. J. B等國際重要學術刊物發表SCI收錄論文多篇。現為大學本科生講授《大學物理》,為研究生講授《科學計算程式設計》、《原子碰撞理論》等課。2007年獲 “四川大學青年骨幹教師”獎。
