1996.02-1999.04: 香港大學生態與生物多樣性系植物學專業,獲自然哲學博士學位;

1989.09-1992.06: 中國科學院華南植物研究所植物學專業,獲理學碩士學位;

1983.09-1987.07: 華中師範大學生物系生物學專業,獲理學學士學位。

2005.10-至今:華南農業大學生命科學學院,教授;

研究方向

植物系統發育與分子生態等方面的研究。套用分子生物學數據,結合形態學,研究重要植物類群的親緣關係和性狀的演化,和特定生態條件下物種適應和分化的分子機制。
