華特迪士尼動畫工作室，Walt Disney Animation Studios，原名Walt Disney Feature Animation，這個由華特迪士尼先生本人創辦，也是今日娛樂帝國迪士尼公司內最具特色，歷史最為悠久的部門，坐落於美國加州伯班克，就在迪士尼真人電影部門的旁邊，對面是迪士尼旗下的美國3大電視網ABC的部門。

外觀被《幻想曲》中米老鼠經典片段“魔法師的學徒”中的魔術冒所籠罩，迪士尼動畫工作室一下子就提醒你它悠久的歷史，這座誕生了世界上第一部彩色動畫長片《白雪公主》，後來又炮製了《幻想曲》《小鹿班比》《仙履奇緣》《小姐與流氓》《睡美人》《小美人魚》《獅子王》《美女與野獸》等等動畫界不朽經典的工作室，的確擁有著燦爛的過去，不過更重要的是迪士尼動畫工作室的員工現在也在憧憬著美好的未來。自2006年4月，迪士尼完成對業界先鋒——皮克斯動畫工作室的收購，皮克斯大佬Ed Catmul和John Lasseter被分別任命為迪士尼動畫工作室主席和首席創意官而進入這座大樓工作後，這座歷史悠久的動畫工作室便煥發出了新的生機，在Ed和John全程跟蹤下的迪士尼自家的第一部動畫長片《閃電狗》在Rottentomato上獲得了各大媒體的好評，成為迪士尼動畫工作室多年來推出的質量最高的作品。
2009年，華特迪士尼動畫工作室決定根據安徒生童話製作一部名為《冰雪奇緣》的影片，這部影片於2013年上映。
