程海所在的西安交通大學主要成就
科研學術成就主要體現在兩個方面。一是高精度質譜同位素測量技術，特別是在鈾系質譜測年技術上世界領先，其中包括有關同位素半衰期的精確測定。這對我國在該技術領域從無到有，並迅速提升到國際先進水平有實際意義。二是以同位素測量技術為主的在全球環境變化、海洋學、古人類演化等前沿科學問題的套用方面，做出了多項在國際上有影響的開創性工作，包括在國際著名期刊上發表論文180多篇，含9篇《科學》和7篇《自然》文章。這些文章在相關研究領域具有重要影響，並被大量引用，其中1997年以來發表論文被引用次數超過4200次。在最近十年世界整個地球科學領域的排名為目前的第32名，是地質年代學、同位素和微量元素地球化學以及全球環境變化領域的高被引用科學家之一。
程海在高精度質譜同位素測量技術領域，發展了國際先進水平的U系質譜測量技術，包括230Th和231PaTIMS、MC-ICPMS測年方法、U-Th標準、230Th-234U-238U久期平衡標準以及相關同位素半衰期的精準測定。提供了許多重要和精確的晚第四紀氣候變化的絕對年代尺標、以及精確測量海水等地質樣品中一些極微量元素及其同位素的技術方法。初步建立了重要的中-低緯度主要氣候系統、特別是亞洲季風的高解析度和精確定年的石筍同位素記錄、及其與全球氣候變化之間的對比關係。為不同氣候系統之間的氣候變化的精確對比提供了重要的年代尺標，成為理解全球氣候變化，特別是全球季風氣候變化的規律、機制及其與西風帶和高緯度地區氣候變化聯繫的重要基礎之一，同時也為更好地識別和研究近現代氣候變化異常提供了重要的自然氣候變化背景。在國際期刊上發表論文近300篇,含12篇Science、7篇Nature和16篇Nature子刊文章。論文被引用近2萬次(H-因子62)。
所獲榮譽
獲得2014年三秦友誼獎，為陝西省政府授予來陝外國專家的最高榮譽；入選2014ThomsonReuters:HighlyCitedResearchers2014和theWorld’sMostInfluentialScientificMinds2014；2014年獲首屆“湯森路透中國引文桂冠獎–高被引科學家獎”和“湯森路透中國引文桂冠獎–最具國際引文影響力獎”。是中國15名獲得“最具國際引文影響力獎”者中唯一來自地學領域的科學家。
2015年2月，國際地球化學學會（GeochemicalSociety）與歐洲地球化學協會（EuropeanAssociationofGeochemistry）公布了2015年國際地球化學會士（GeochemistryFellow）名單，併入選湯森路透“2015全球高被引科學家”。西安交通大學全球環境變化研究院國家千人計畫學者程海教授以其在石筍同位素測年領域的突出貢獻入選。
