2009年6月獲得四川農業大學作物遺傳育種專業博士學位。2008年1月-2009年1月受國家留學基金委“中加聯合培養博士生項目”資助，赴加拿大農業部列橋研究中心留學一年，從事小黑麥種子蛋白基因鑑定、小孢子培養及遺傳轉化研究。
主要研究方向：
小麥品質相關基因的發掘和利用；新疆稻麥新、一粒小麥、二粒小麥的高分子量谷蛋白基因進行了鑑定、克隆和以及體外表達，研究了高分子量谷蛋白基因結構進化和表達模式，並進行了遺傳轉化研究。對小麥小孢子培養及遺傳轉化體系進行了探索和改進。
