梅瑟爾德斯·麥坎布晨奇

梅瑟爾德斯•麥坎布晨奇(Mercedes McCambridge)1918年3月17日生於伊利諾州，芒德蘭學院畢業。學習期間已開始在廣播電台演出節目，很快就成為美國廣受矚目和尊敬的廣播員之一。40年代在百老匯演出舞台劇，獲得成功。1949年登上銀幕，在處女作《當代奸雄》中出演配角，一舉榮獲22屆奧斯卡最佳女配角金像獎。她演出的影片主要有《巨人》、《戰地春夢》、《慢跑回家》、《九十九個女人》、《六月花上一隻鴉》、《國際機場1979》等。
