劇情簡介
波洛到訪伊斯坦堡之際，替英國軍方解決了一起複雜的案件。在返回倫敦的途中，他遇到了老友國際客車公司的董事Bouc先生，他為波洛在最後一刻訂到了東方快車的車票。在列車上，波洛遇到了形形色色的乘客，其中有一位兇殘的美國富商Samuel Ratchett告訴波洛自己的生命受到威脅，他願意支付重金讓波洛保護自己，但卻遭到了波洛的拒絕。第二天清晨醒來之際，波洛發現列車受困於暴風雪中而Ratchett已經在自己的包廂內身亡。在Bouc先生和醫生Constantine的協助下，波洛開始對兇案展開調查……
