功能分子的設計與合成

主要研究、設計、合成具有套用背景的功能分子,如藥物、香料、甜味分子、染料等等。

有機超分子化學

重點研究功能化有機超分子聚集體、超微環境的設計合成與性能;

非常重視功能性超微環境中的“酶”模擬反應,智慧型材料的設計合成等。

相對於以共價鍵為基礎,以分子為研究對象的傳統分子化學(molecular chemistry)而言,以多種弱相互作用力(或稱次級鍵)為基礎,以2個以上分子通過這種弱相互作用高層次組裝為研究對象的化學,可定義為“超越分子概念的化學”,也稱為超分子化學(supermolecular chemistry)。

與原子間由化學鍵作用而形成分子的分子化學不同,超分子化學是研究分子間相互作用締結而形成複雜有序且具有特定功能的分子聚集體的科學,這種分子聚集體簡稱超分子。換言之,超分子化學是研究通過非共價鍵作用形成功能體系的科學。

超分子作用是一種具有分子識別能力的分子間相互作用,通過對分子間相互作用的精確調控,超分子化學逐漸發展成為一門新興的分子信息化學,它包括在分子水平和結構特徵上的信息存儲,以及通過特異性相互作用的分子識別過程,實現在超分子尺寸上的修正、傳輸和處理。它是化學和多門學科的交叉領域,它不僅與物理學、材料科學、信息科學、環境科學等相互滲透形成了超分子科學,而更具有重要理論意義和潛在前景的是在生命科學中的研究和套用。例如生物體內小分子和大分子之間高度特異的識別在生命過程中的調控,生物體內的信息輸送( 電子轉移、能量傳遞、物質傳輸和化學轉換)和生物體中受體-底物相互作用等,其基本現象都離不開超分子化學範疇。

未來超分子體系的特徵應為“自適應化學,將在有機合成的“酶”模擬化、智慧型材料的構築等領域發揮關鍵作用。

功能新材料的設計與合成

主要研究、設計、合成具有套用背景的功能材料、複合製劑等,如有機光電材料、儲能材料、合成燃料、食品醫藥化妝品輔助材料,以及乳化劑、粘合劑、精細化工等。
