英語是活的！英語也在每天發展和變化。語言有時尚、潮流的一面，是所有的人一起來分享的藝術。英語活在每一個使用它的人身上，而它又比他們的生命更長。每一次在使用中出現一個新的字，語言就又豐富一些。新的生命的故事會帶來新的詞語，和老詞語的新的意思。語言是活的，需要我們大家參與並加入以發展，本書將為你提供參與的最佳途徑！帕森斯也被叫做魔奇先生，因為他會魔術表演，還因為他的故事也像魔術一樣神奇！帕森斯出生在紐約。1994年獲得教育碩士學位，曾執教於中國人民大學。他來到中國已有十年了，積累了大量的教學經驗。他還在輕鬆調頻做過DJ，在許多電視台有過表演，參與編寫並主持了CETV1頻道的《PEP英語》節目。他還是位多產的作家，已出版了英語輔導叢書和小說等10餘本。他非常熱愛中國，希望用他幽默詼諧的方式幫助中國學生輕鬆地學好英文。
