歌曲背景
“Lullaby”是吳亦凡19歲時與摯友Kevin Shin共同創作的一首給媽媽的歌曲，這首歌緣起自兩人皆為練習生時所建立的兄弟感情：當初兩人作為練習生學習的時候，因彼此背景相似又有共同喜好，兩人漸漸成為了攜手前行的好兄弟 。即便後來兩人各自朝著不同的方向發展，也沒有影響到他們之間的感情。 時光更迭後，兩人更進階到默契無間的兄弟情誼，而這首歌的歌詞便在闡述著兩人對於家庭、事業亦或是音樂的相同追求與感受。起初這首歌是一首全英文歌曲，吳亦凡在回國發展後的每年生日會上皆會改編並現場演唱，卻從未正式發行過錄音室版本。這次特地與Kevin在洛杉磯的錄音室重新改編錄製，並加入了中文RAP。
吳亦凡與Kevin當年都是為了追求夢想，去異國他鄉打拚。也因為如此，家人總是擔心獨自在外的他們因為演藝事業背負著過於沉重的負擔，且因距離和家人產生疏遠，而這首歌就是兩人想要表達對媽媽的歉疚，歌詞里寫道“媽媽對不起，過去幾年如此難熬，我不想看到你哭泣，為我唱首搖籃曲吧。”就是希望藉由音樂創作直接表達對過往叛逆執念個性的最深切歉意 ，運用樂器節奏、RAP歌詞與旋律混合出復古玩趣 。孩子總是希望能不顧一切追隨夢想，就算最終失敗也能獲得珍貴難忘的回憶，然而家人擔心孩子在外碰撞後傷痕累累。就因為兩方都在不捨與放手一博間游移，才讓矛盾趁虛而入。然而時過境遷，作為孩子漸漸懂得了家人最初的擔心與不捨。也就因為如此，讓兩人把想要對媽媽的話語都賦予節奏與韻腳，在一天晚上嘗試譜曲創作，並將內心的感受化為歌詞與旋律，雖然剛硬但卻透露著心疼的柔軟，譜成一首兒子獻給媽媽的歌曲。
