創作背景
《Wait Wait Wait》是蔡徐坤寫給自己的一首歌，他一直想就“等待”這個主題創作歌曲，在手機備忘錄中保存著相應的內容，寫了多個版本的歌詞，包括關於自我的等待，對於世界、外界的等待等，此外，他還構思了副歌的旋律。2018年，蔡徐坤以《偶像練習生》第一名出道後，正式開始籌備該曲，他重新整理歌詞後選定了愛情版的歌詞。歌詞一開始用中文創作，然後再慢慢地譯成英文 。
