根據Hit Parader 1988年的採訪，《It's So Easy》描述的是Duff McKagan和West Arkeen以及樂隊的其他成員共同經歷過的一段時期，樂隊沒有錢，因此他們的生活依靠追隨者和女孩兒們……於是事情變得簡單了，甚至有些空虛，It‘s so easy。
2006年接受Eddie Trunk的採訪，Axl Rose表示Duff和West創作的這首歌曲原先是《Hippie Ya-Ya》的原聲，是Slash的想法使之改編成一支搖滾歌曲。

現了舞台上的樂隊在人群前表演的常見，不久之後的promotvideo大量修改了原錄影帶，除了幾個樂隊在台上的鏡頭之外增添了更多比基尼女孩。
《It’s So Easy》錄影帶沒有收錄進樂隊的DVD《Welcome to the Videos》，因此錄影帶的數量很少，幾乎只能在網際網路找得到。
錄影帶初發行時並未受到熱評，單曲沒有在美國發行而它的錄影帶從未上過MTV台。
