劇情簡介
又一起女孩失蹤案發生了，人們聯想到了74年發生的失蹤案。為告慰逝去的母親，低級律師John Piggott回到家鄉，鄰居Mrs Myshkin請求他去看望當年因此案被歸咎收監的兒子Michael。通過和Michael的交談他發現Michael並不是真正的兇手，人生事業一無是處的John開始了對背後故事的挖掘，試圖尋找真正的兇手。

《血色偵程三部曲》是Channel4電視台最新力作，改編自偵探小說作家David Peace的懸疑作品The Red Riding Quartet其中的三部1974，1980，1983。本片製作班底十分強大，由三位知名導演加盟，分別執筒，令得這三部曲既有劇情人物、時代背景絲絲相扣，又體現出不同的製片風格，極具觀賞趣味。整部作品充滿黑暗、腐朽的氣息，無論劇情還是人物塑造都極具壓迫感，儘管沒有過多血腥暴力的場面，但對觀者的心理無疑是一次挑戰。
