《英語泛讀(高1年級)》一共選編了10篇各種體裁的英語閱讀材料，其中有詩歌賞析，人物傳記，東西方文化包括世界名勝古蹟、迪斯尼、稀有動物等等。各類話題儘可能與現時高中一年級的精讀課本相吻合。
內容簡介
《英語泛讀(高1年級)》全書內容生動、語言地道、編排活潑、圖文並茂，練習新穎。每篇文章設有統一板塊，如Prereading questions作為讀前問題的思考；如Background knowledge作為對語篇的背景了解。所列生詞均配有中英文雙解及補充例句以便使讀者快速消化，對於文章中某些難句也標了註解。基於“任務型教學”(task—based)理論，編者為《英語泛讀(高1年級)》所設計的各類練習都配有(Comprehension task(理解任務)、Language task(語言任務)以及Final task(最后綜合任務)，從而從不同側面編寫了形式多樣的各類鞏固練習。
《英語泛讀(高1年級)》是復旦附中推出的校本教材系列叢書之一，並將它作為全校高一年級拓寬英語課程的泛讀教材。
