形態
灌木，高1-2米餘。小枝有細縱棱，貼生短柔毛，嫩枝毛密，老枝毛少至無毛。羽狀複葉具3小葉；托葉線狀鑽形或狹披針狀鑽形，長3-6毫米；葉柄長0.5-2厘米；小葉倒卵形或近橢圓形，長10-25（-30）毫米，寬7-15（20）毫米，先端圓形或微缺，具小凸尖，向下部常漸狹，基部圓形或寬楔形，兩面均貼生微柔毛，通常上面毛較少或有時近無毛。總狀花序單一或有時2個腋生並頂生，具數至多花，花序軸連總花梗長1.5-4（5）厘米，稀更長，貼生微柔毛，總花梗長0.5-2.5厘米；苞片卵狀披針形或披針形，長0.6-2毫米，稀達3毫米，宿存；花梗絲狀，貼生微柔毛，長8（5）-15（25）毫米；小苞片早落；花萼通常為筒狀鐘形或狹鐘形，長（3.5-）4-5毫米，貼生短柔毛，中裂或稍深裂，萼裂片披針形，上方萼裂片大部分合生，先端分離部分長約0.6毫米；花冠紫色或紫紅色，長11-14毫米，旗瓣近倒卵形，瓣柄長1毫米餘，翼瓣近半圓形，基部有耳及細瓣柄，龍骨瓣稍大於直角或近直角內彎，瓣片上部比瓣片下部（連瓣柄）短2-4毫米；子房邊緣有毛，表面有毛或無毛。莢果略呈長圓形，兩面稍凸，長8-10毫米，寬3.5-4.5（5）毫米，先端具短喙尖，基部具長1.4-1.8毫米的果頸，表面無毛或貼生稀疏的微柔毛。花期9-11月，果期11-12月。分布範圍
產四川、雲南、廣西（西部）。等模式標本采自雲南省賓川縣（大坪子）及洱源縣（黑山門）。生長習性
