劇情簡介
《捲毛頭》小孤女鄧波兒不僅是孤兒院里的搗蛋鬼，同時也是大家的開心果。她還有一個姐姐叫伊莉莎白。後來，一位神秘富翁決定收養們，她不僅找出了那人的身份，而且為漂亮姐姐牽起了紅線。
主演簡介
秀蘭·鄧波兒1928年4月23日，秀蘭·鄧波兒生於加利福尼亞州的聖莫尼卡。她有兩個兄弟，他們分別是傑克和小喬治。秀蘭的父親喬治是洛杉磯一家銀行的普通出納員，母親格特魯迪斯是芝加哥一個珠寶商的女兒。
秀蘭·鄧波兒兩歲時她就對音樂產生了興趣，3歲時鄧波兒在精明母親的安排下進入一所叫米格林的幼兒舞蹈學校接受訓練，這是是好萊塢星探經常出入的地方。秀蘭·鄧波兒的母親一心渴望女兒能演上更重要的角色，而這個機會在1934年桑塔莫尼卡的一座影院門前出現了。當時詞作者賈伊·戈尼正在編寫愛國歌舞片《起立歡呼》，他的視線一下子被在台階上哼哼跳跳等候媽媽的秀蘭吸引住了，當即決定為她在這部影片中安排一個角色。影片大獲成功，五歲的秀蘭立刻得到一份七年的演出契約。
在那一年裡，她在福克斯公司演了《新群芳大會》、《小安琪》、《小情人》等8部影片。由於在這幾部影片的出色表演，她因此躋身十大明星之列。同時她還獲得了第7屆奧斯卡特別金像獎。
