After I read 9 to 15 paragraphs I find the author tell us six different claims. They are the “weasel” claim, the “water is wet” claim, the “so what” claim, the “scientific or statistical” claim, the “compliment the consumer” claim and the “rhetorical”. These kinds of claims are all interesting and good. The author set examples to explain these six claims. I like these six claims very much.

From the paragraph 9 I know the weasel claim is aptly named after the egg-eating habits of weasels. This words or claims that appear substantial at first glance but disintegrate into hollow meaninglessness, it is interesting. I think this kind claim is very good and it can easily attract people.

Paragraph 10 the author explains the water is wet claim. In this paragraph the sentence “made from grain and water as are other beers” I can not understand this sentence so clearly. So I read the book reference and from the note I know the complete sentence is “Rheingold is made from grains and water as are other beers.”

In paragraph 11 I know the so what claim. This claim is made that is true but gives no real advantage to the product. The sentence “but is it twice as beneficial to the body?” the complete sentence would be: But is it twice as beneficial to the body as ordinary supplements are? In this paragraph the word “stock” in the last sentence confused me. I think it for a moment and I look up it in the dictionary from the dictionary I know it means soup.

In paragraph 12 the author tells us the scientific or statistical claim. In the last class Deng sir told us to find claims and my job was finding the scientific or statistical claim. I found a Chinese claims and then explain it. So I know this kind claim very well. I think this claim is very directly and let us know this product very well.

From paragraph 13 I know the compliment the consumer claim. I think this claim is flatters the consumers. They know consumers are god and do they best to the consumers.

In paragraph 14 the author introduces the last kind of claims. This claim is want audience to answer the question and know the product is good for the audience.

The last paragraph is summarizing the whole article. After read this article I know ad is very important in our life.
